Generali Poland has released their new website, designed to offer a tailored web portal optimized for both new and existing customers.
What’s more, the new platform utilizes new technologies and analytical capabilities, provided through a technology partnership with Univio.
“The implementation of the new Generali website can definitely be called a revolution. We built the website according to the most modern technological trends (state-of-art). The solution based on Strapi CMS is based on headless architecture and uses the advantages of cloud services. Such a change gives us not only a new, refreshed graphic design, but most of all it gives unlimited possibilities.“

The Generali Group is one of the largest financial and insurance groups in the world. They have been active in Poland since 1998, offering three key pillars of business activity: life and property insurance for individual customers, pension savings management and corporate insurance policies.
In order to strengthen its position on the market, Generali Poland made an important step forward to stand out amongst insurance providers. Univio was asked to update the platform to be more forward-facing: key challenges included ensuring data security, help attract new customers and provide a better means for Generali’s own team to manage content and forms on the website itself.
Key technologes used include the AWS cloud, for storage and scalability, and headless solutions in the form of a new content management system built through the Jamstack approach.
“It allows us to optimize the work of our IT team and respond to all problems “here and now”. The new website also gives us the possibility to introduce the most advanced analytical and optimization tools, which will definitely translate into the quality of reception by our clients. For Generali, this is just the beginning of a new digital transformation!”

Univio chose the headless approach in order to update Generali’s website for the modern age. Strapi CMS – an open source headless content management system – was a key choice.
“We’ve combined Headless CMS, serving static pages, and we’ve embedded everything in the cloud using AWS components. The challenges in the project were many, but we managed to achieve success both in terms of innovation and technology, as well as at the level of project implementation itself.“

However, a design system was also implemented to provide a centralized library of visual elements and components created by cooperating with UG – EDISONDA. This early investment will be used in upcoming systems, both external and internal.
“The success of the project is a joint effort of the team designing the graphics, the team implementing the architecture and the front end, as well as the Generali team responsible for feeding the website with content and architectural support. The whole solution was created in the Jamstack architecture stream. The Generali website is a very innovative project.“
