On May 23-24, we were a partner of the strategic networking forum for the retail sector – E-Commerce Challenge 2023, held at the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel in Warsaw.
During the two days of lectures, our attention was drawn to such issues as:
- e-commerce profitability – including in the context of the omnichannel model,
- process optimization as a way to make long-term savings in a company,
- verification of investments in development in times of crisis.
Repeatedly during the presentations, the growing importance of international expansion (crossborder) and sales through marketplace platforms was emphasized. However, the main protagonist of many speeches was artificial intelligence (AI) and data analytics, aimed at improving user experience through personalization.
As a conference partner, we also had the opportunity to share our experiences. Tomasz Gutkowski, Head of Business Development Univio, led a panel discussion, during which we reflected with our speakers on ways to acquire customers in times of crisis. We talked about what channels are worth using, what role price currently plays in the purchasing process and how to increase customer loyalty.
We presented the main conclusions of the panel discussion in an article summarizing our presentation – we invite you to read it here.
