As a leading name in the pharmacy and drugstore market, Super-Pharm continuously expands its product range across both physical stores and e-commerce channels. With a growing portfolio and plans for market expansion, the company faced challenges in managing product data efficiently. To streamline operations, the company sought a solution that would centralize and automate product information management while ensuring seamless updates across multiple sales channels.

In order to increase the efficiency of product data management, it was necessary to implement a PIM system. Integrated with the existing IT infrastructure, the system would provide central management of all product information. It would also enable their efficient synchronization across all sales channels.

Automating and synchronizing data between PIM, ERP, and Magento was crucial, allowing for the fast introduction of new products to the market and seamless updates to offer information.

The Solution

  • To streamline product data management, the Pimcore system was implemented, allowing full control over the product lifecycle - from launch to withdrawal. It also enables automatic synchronization of information across all sales channels, making offer management more efficient.
  • Our team integrated PIM with the ERP system to ensure seamless synchronization of product data. This allows for regular updates, reducing the risk of errors and making offer management more efficient.
  • PIM was integrated with Magento, enabling a continuous flow of product information from the PIM system to the online store. The new data structure simplifies product management and presentation on the e-commerce platform while considering local market needs.
  • To enhance product content, PIM was connected to the external BrandBank database, providing access to detailed descriptions, ingredient lists, and professional product images (packshots). This significantly improved the quality and accuracy of product information in the e-commerce channel.
