Our History
/ Humble Origins
1997
A group of six students of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology start their own business – Internet Designers is launched, one of the first interactive agencies in the Polish market
2000
Empathy is founded in Krakow – one of the first Internet Software Houses in the Polish market, specialized in creating dedicated applications and e-commerce
2003
Contium is founded next to Internet Designers – one of the first Internet Software House in the Polish market, specialized in creating dedicated applications and e-commerce, based in Wrocław
2012
Internet Designers SA takes over Empathy Internet Software House, and then Unity is formed from the merger of Internet Designers, Contium and Empathy
2018
Brand consolidation and transformation into Grupa Unity
2019
Rapid international expansion (offices set up in New York and Zurich)
2020
Rebranding of Unity Group, a new consolidated offer, further internationalization of communication activities and development of a strong global brand
2022
Global4Net joins Unity Group - the largest Adobe Commerce team in Poland is formed
2023
Unity Group and Allwins enter partnership agreement - market consulting experts join UG ranks
2024
Renaming to Univio to better reflect our consolidated offer and international expansion as a unique and distinct brand
