Commerce Transformation Days 2019 – what transformations lie ahead of the e-commerce industry?

Anna Bogdańska (RTV Euro AGD), Michael Türk (Spryker Systems), Arno Nienhuis (TrendActor, Oracle) and Robin Müller (Tagesspiegel.de) – these and many other experts will speak at the upcoming 2019 edition of Commerce Transformation Days. Commerce Transformation Days 2019 is a conference organized through a partnership between ICAN Institute and Unity Group. It’ll include two days of subject-matter discussion, showing the ongoing process of digital transformation of commerce and the trends that will influence the shape of e-commerce in the future, as well as tips and tools on how to get on the path of digital transformation in your business. 

What’s in store for the participants of Commerce Transformation Days 2019?

Each event promoted by Unity Group relies on business practitioners and proven speakers. This will be the case this time as well – thanks to panel discussions, lectures and networking sessions.

The first day of the conference will begin with a power speech by Witold Jankowski (president of ICAN Institute and editor-in-chief at HBRP) and Grzegorz Rudno-Rudzinski (expert and innovator in digital transformation at Unity Group) on digital transformation in the sales of products and services. Next, as part of the section entitled “Goodbye e-commerce, welcome just commerce Michael Türk, the expert from the innovative e-commerce platform Spryker, together with Nicolas Metzke, the CEO at Melvin&Hamilton, will talk about implementing digital strategies and technologies in a customer-oriented market. Then, we will talk with e-commerce managers about the current state of online retail in the fashion industry.

The speakers of the second section – “Digital Transformation in B2B” – include Artur Piekarczyk, a digital transformation expert (Allwins.org). He will share his long-standing experience related to transformation processes in large enterprises from the business-to-business sector. This part will also present the tools to improve off- and online sales (GS1) as well as profitability in the company and what impacts it (Sente). The second part will close with a panel discussion on the digital transformation of logistics.

The last item of the first day of the conference will address preparing employees to take part in the process of digital transformation. Anna Łakomy (responsible for the development of a diagnostic line in the consulting projects department at ICAN Institute) will speak in detail about neuroscience as an answer to the challenges organizations face during changes. This part will be concluded with a panel discussion on “Agile mindset” with the participation of, among others: Anna Bogdańska (responsible for the digital development of the RTV Euro AGD retail chain).

The art of sales, start-ups and artificial intelligence in practice

Day two will start with a speech entitled “From Sales Art To Sales Science” by Arno Nienhuis (a digital leader and technology expert in commerce and artificial intelligence, Oracle), and then, in the “Scalable Sales Models” section, we will hear Robin Müller (digitalization strategist for Tagesspiegel and its entire product range), who is set to talk about the solutions implemented at Tagesspiegel.de. 

This day will also feature an interesting panel discussion on “Start-ups – with whom and how to cooperate?” It will be conducted by Grzegorz Rudno-Rudziński (Unity Group) and Bernard Gołko (expert in e-commerce and profitability development at Souter Investments). Next, we have a section devoted to artificial intelligence applied in practice with representatives of the leading technologies in this area: AWS and Emarsys. Sales prediction solutions such as Upsaily will also be featured.
